To spiritually influence the culture of the greater Ottawa area, changing the moral, political, spiritual, and social fabric, resulting in thousands coming to faith in Christ world wide. Our Mission
Our mission is to build irresistible bridges between the unchurched in the greater Ottawa area & Jesus Christ, compelling them to accept Jesus as their personal Saviour, get plugged into the church, and grow to demonstrate the Fruit of the Spirit. This will involve programs and ministries that target both unbelievers and those presently enjoying a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As an evangelical church that is part of the world wide Wesleyan denomination, we will clearly proclaim the truth that God desires that all receive the free gift of everlasting life through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Commissioned by the Lord to go into all the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ and make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20), we will reach beyond the Ottawa Valley to the entire nation of Canada and the world by building mission bridges that will take the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to all.

The Wesleyan Church is an evangelical, Protestant denomination. We offer the good news that faith in Jesus Christ makes possible a wonderful personal relationship with God, a holy life empowered by His Spirit for witness and service, and assurance of eternal life in heaven. Our name is in honor of John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, whose emphasis on a life of faith, self-discipline, and perfect love is our example.
Central Canada District - Wesleyan churches in North America are divided into districts with The Bridge being the largest church in The Central Canada District. Our district office is located in Belleville Ontario and our District Camp ground is located on Silver Lake.
Our Beliefs (Summary)
Wesleyans believe in one God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all men and women who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life. We believe that those who receive new life in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord's Spirit. We believe in the Bible and seek to establish our faith and actions on its teachings. We believe God wills for people everywhere to know Him and that the purpose of the church is to tell the world about Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.
