| Canada Day in the Park – There will be a service sponsored by the Kanata churches in Walter Baker Park at 10 am on Thurs., July 1st. Pre-service music at (9:45 am) Guest Speaker will be Kenny Blacksmith, First Nations Leader of Forgiven Summit. There will be a children’s service (Adventures in Art & Music) with Jerry & Bonnie Wallace in the gazebo behind the platform. Bring a lawn chair and a friend. Free will offering to defray costs. |
| Government Prayer Sunday - June 27th - Many of our leaders will need great grace and wisdom in the next week as Canada hosts the G-8 & G-20 Summits on June 25 - 27. Our National House of Prayer is encouraging everyone to pray for our local officials - locally, provincially and federally, now and throughout the coming months. |
| VBS Registration –Galactic Blastoff! For all kids in ages 3 yrs. – Grade 5; July 12- 16th from 9 – 11:30 am; Cost: $15. per child or $50. per family of 4 + Includes a chorus CD, T-Shirt, and daily take home crafts. |

AMC Summer Movie Camp – Kanata AMC is offering children’s movies every Tues. morning at 10 am from June 15 – Aug. 10th. Admission is $1! Part of the admissions fee and concession proceeds will benefit the Will Rogers Institute and Variety. All films are PG, tickets are available in advance. See the poster in the foyer for the complete lineup of films.
